At Oakland we offer respite care for older people who may need extra care and support after illess or surgery often while their carer takes a break. Respite stays are tailored to the individual's needs and offer a chance to meet similar indivduals and try new experiences.
Respite care is provided to individuals, leaving their carers in the knowledge their loved one is receiving the very best full time care available. This replacement care is to relieve cares, and /or provide short-term specialist care for a relative. We are also happy to provide respite care as a 'trial stay' before deciding if our care homes are well suited.
